That’s the war cry of SanrioDigital board member and Internet luminary Joi Ito who took time out of his extremely busy schedule and visited us at our affiliates Outblaze’s offices in Hong Kong.
Even though SanrioDigital staff members only had a few hours notice of his impending arrival, they did a stellar job in preparing various presentations for him to ensure that Joi was fully briefed with what was happening with various projects currently being undertaken by SanrioDigital. Lesser mortals would have been fazed with the torrent of information being delivered but Joi’s ability to grasp the core issues and think strategically and provide insightful comments left a lasting impression on SD staff.
Joi Ito who is also chairman of Creative Commons also spoke with Hong Kong Internet pioneer Pindar Wong about why Hong Kong needs Creative Commons
I took the opportunity to be a fly on the wall in these discussions and at the end of his brief visit, I asked Joi if he would be amenable to say a few words on camera about his thoughts on what he thinks of the work being done by SanrioDigital in providing an entertaining yet wholesome experience for the characters within the Sanrio Universe
